Subject: nn is compiled to usr /usr/bin/inews rather than PATH
Date: Mon, 20 Oct 97 16:25 BST
Package: nn
Version: 6.5.0.b3.linux.1.1-01

Mark Harrison, one of my users, points out that nn is compiled to call
/usr/bin/inews by its absolute pathname, rather than searching the
PATH.

This is suboptimal - hardcoded PATHs are a bad thing. In my
environment this causes posting not to work at all. Now I'll have to
use dpkg-divert on inews.

Ian.
