Subject: dpkg-genchanges does not consider 0.1 new
Date: Wed, 19 Nov 1997 01:40:07 +1100
Package: dpkg-dev
Version: 1.4.0.19

dpkg-genchanges does not consider a debian version number 0.1
to be a new upload as far as the upstream source goes, yet 0.1
is the debian version number to be used for non-maintainer
new-upstream-version uploads according to the manuals.

Subject: bugs fixed in the latest dpkg-dev
Date: Mon, 13 Mar 2000 20:51:26 +0100
Hi people,

The bugs you reported against dpkg-dev (or related packages) have been
fixed, please upgrade to the latest dpkg-dev, from the Debian `frozen'
distribution.

Thanks for reporting.

(BTW these are dpkg-dev bugs that have been marked as fixed, and Wichert,
dpkg maintainer, has allowed me to close them.)
