dpkg-buildpackage reports the source maintainer as the source
version. As far as I can tell, this is a cosmetic bug from line 85 of
dpkg-buildpackage.
Output is shown below. The 'no utmp entry' errors are non-harmful and
not related to this bug report, though I include them for
completeness.
I'm running near-stock debian 1.3.1r6 system.
