Package: libc6-dev
Version: 2.0.7pre1-2
Either libc6-dev or manpages-dev is in error. From getpass(3):

#include <pwd.h>
char *getpass( const char * prompt );
But:
% grep getpass /usr/include/{unistd,pwd}.h
/usr/include/unistd.h:extern char *getpass __P ((__const char *__prompt));

Message #10 received at 18753@bugs.debian.org (full text, mbox, reply):
The code is always right ;-)
Much of this sort of thing is still in flux in the glibc release, so there
will be more of this sort of mismatch to be found.
I have cc'd this to the manpages-dev maintainer Nicols Lichtmaier
<nick@feedback.net.ar> and if he agrees, I will reassign the bug to
manpages-dev.
Thanks for the info!

This was never a bug in libc6-dev, and it's been fixed in manpages-dev.
