Subject: skk: By default, skk doesn't convert kana -> kanji
Date: Mon, 23 Mar 1998 14:33:04 -0700 (MST)
Package: skk
Version: 10.39-5

After installing skk, it doesn't convert kana to kanji. After digging
in the documentation a little I found I could get it working after
setting the dictionary file or skk server emacs variables. However a
new user would have problems with this. I think it should work out of
the box.

While I'm thinking of a new user point of view, I guess I also had to
know enough to type M-x skk-mode to get it started. Perhaps we need a
automatically generated menu system for emacs packages analogous to
the current general purpose Debian menu system?
