Subject: dpkg either not documented or not packaged properly
Date: Sat, 13 Jun 1998 17:38:06 -0400
Package: dpkg
Version: 1.4.0.22

Porting dpkg to a new environment, the INSTALL file suggests running
./configure, but there is no ./configure

debian/rules tries to run aclocal, but that's not documented.
[and not present where I'm trying to build dpkg.]
