Subject: balsa doesn't crash on another machine
Date: Tue, 18 Jan 2000 13:02:31 -0500
Package: balsa
Version: 0.6.0-1

I tried running balsa on another somewhat similarly configured machine, and
it doesn't crash. There is one perhaps key difference between the two
machines. On the machine that crashes, I have been using balsa as a mail
reader using the previous version (0.4?). I hadn't ever setup balsa on
the machine that doesn't crash.

Your .balsarc is included. If that's the scope of the bug report,
then I can close it since it does not crash on my box. Instead
balsa displays the configurator and spits out

Subject: Easily reproducable:
Date: Thu, 18 May 2000 15:54:57 -0400
I just thought I'd let you know that I haven't had any trouble reproducing
this at all, and I hadn't even seen the bug report!

  What I did was this:

  (a) Start a server
  (b) Start a robot in the server, the robot pops up a dialog box and appears
     in the player list.
  (c) Start a client
  (d) Send ships
  (e) Click "start"
  (f) Try to play, I can see the robot shooting at me, but I can't see where
I've tried to shoot at the robot.

Is the game supposed to be played "blind"?

I also see Gtk-WARNING messages about "invalid cast from GnomeClient", perhaps
that's related?

  Daniel
