Subject: bash2/libreadline2.1 pre-dependency problem
Date: 24 Feb 1997 08:52:03 +0100
Package: bash
Version: 2.0-2

This is not strictly a problem with bash, maybe you should forward
this to the dselect/dpkg maintainer (I use dpkg-1.4.0.5):

I just downloded some files from bo to install on my rex system, among
these bash-2.0-2 and libreadline2-2.1-1.

While installing I got a complaint (pre-dependency problem) that bash
2.0 needs libreadline2 >=2.1. After this libreadline2-2.1-1 was
installed, bash not.
When I was back in the dselect main menu I started "Install" a second
time and everything worked.

Florian.
