my xterm is black wont on white background.
after running dselect if have white fonts on black background...

dselect should save the old color combination and restore it when
quiting.

	I cannot reproduce this.  Does it still happen with latest
versions of dpkg, xbase and ncurses?

The reproducibility of this bug has been questioned more than three years ago. I'll assume that this bug is irrelevant now, and will close it in 2 weeks.
