00400000 is behind the end of my ST-RAM. Bootstrap detected 4 MB
correctly. Adding "stram_swap=0" to parameters did not help. What else
can I try?

With the CT60, during April, I have recompiled the kernel 2.4.25 without CONFIG_STRAM_SWAP, I have 14 MB of STRAM and 256 MB of SDRAM. I remember an access fault at 00E00000 with the debug on the printer. I had also fast ram problems (a bug inside paging_init() of mororola.c) so I'am not sure of bad effects with CONFIG_STRAM_SWAP set. The main problem is that the PMMU work for the atari boot features (/arch/m68k/kernel/head.S) is not compatible with the memory management of the kernel 2.4.x (contiguous memory blocks). Kernel in fastram can't work, and also stram swap I think. In my config the kernel remap the fast ram after the STRAM so at 00E00000.
During this period, I have also tried with success the Sarge Debian installer.

Regards,

Didier.
