Hi! Recently, I didn't have the time to maintain my fpc-package. And as this situation doesn't ssem to change, I think it's best if somebody else takes the package. It's not a starter package! It's a medium sized package so you should really know what you're doing. The upstream authors are very responsive AFAICT. (Thanks to Peter Vreman!) What needs to be done: - Package the latest stable release. - Check if Bug #60720 can be reproduced with this version. - Forward it upstream if it does. Description: The Free Pascal Compiler is a Turbo Pascal 7.0 and Delphi compatible 32bit Pascal Compiler. It comes with fully TP 7.0 compatible run-time library. Some extensions are added to the language, like function overloading. Shared libraries can be linked and created. Basic Delphi support is already implemented (classes,exceptions,ansistrings).
