I don't mind be thought of as dogmatic such as one my label RMS. His
vision has given us emacs (no flames please), and gcc in its present
magnitude--if I'm not mistaken, Solaris doesn't even ship with a
commercial c compiler because they use gcc.
I don't think the silent majority will bend on this issue. It's been
discussed so many times over the last two years.
