debian-solaris-sparc

(modelled after debian-hurd-i386)

Sounds like a cool idea to me!

I don't see any reason we should restrict the debian project to free
kernels. I mean, we prefer free kernels, but since some people have to
use non-free kernels, it seems cool to me to support them by giving them a
simple way to install all the debian packges.

This should probably be brought up on -devel (maybe it already has - I've
just got back from holiday, and I'm about 2000 messages backlogged on
-devel). Where it will almost certainly cause a flame-war :-)
