Bug#474964: Loads pcspkr and others even if explicitely excluded in modprobe.conf

is that file still read?
Quoting from modprobe.conf(5):
/etc/modprobe.conf (or, if that does not exist, all
files under the /etc/modprobe.d directory) specifies those options,
as required.
So if is not read any more there is at least a bug in the docs. I also
would expect a NEWS.Debian that should give a hint to the changed behaviour.
try to blacklist in /etc/modprobe.d
Adding
alias pcspkr off
to /etc/modprobe.d/sound neither does work. So the problem seems to be
there anyway.
Kind regards
Andreas.
