如果您要找旧版本的 Debian 系统软件包，您可以在 Debian Archives, http://archive.debian.org/debian/ 找到。
所有发行的软件包都依他们的发行代号放在 dists 目录下。
- etch 为 Debian 4.0
- sarge 为 Debian 3.1
- woody 为 Debian 3.0
- potato 为 Debian 2.2
- slink 为 Debian 2.1
- hamm 为 Debian 2.0
- bo 为 Debian 1.3
- rex 为 Debian 1.2
- buzz 为 Debian 1.1
等到了一段时间之后，我们就会把旧版本的二进制包给删除。目前我们还保留 etch, sarge, woody、potato、slink、hamm 与 bo 等发行版本中的二进制包，其他的都只提供源码包。
如果您使用 APT，在 sources.list 中请加入：

debian-non-US archive
在过去，由于密码及软件专利的出口管制，有些 Debian 的软件包无法在美国（及其他国家）散布。Debian 维护了一个特别的档案库叫做 non-US
档案库。
这些软件包最终在 Debian 3.1 时合并到主档案库内，debian-non-US 停止维护；所有软件包目前只收录在旧库存内，整合到 archive.debian.org。
它们仍然可以从 archive.debian.org 取得。存取方法是：
