Debian GNU/Linux 2.2 で配布された
xloadimage(X のグラフィックスビューア) には、 FACES 形式の画像を扱うコードにバッファオーバーフローの問題があります。この問題のため、攻撃者が、xloadimageによって特別に細工を施した画像を読み込むように他人を仕向け、それによって任意のコードを実行することが可能となってしまいます。この問題は、バージョン 4.1-5potato1 では修正されています。
