Max Vozeler さんが、Postscript や PDF ファイルからテキストを抽出するユーティリティ pstotext が -dSAFER 引数を付加してゴーストスクリプトを実行していないことを発見しました。 このオプション引数は潜在的な悪意のある操作が起きるのを防ぎます。
旧安定版 (old stable) ディストリビューション (woody) では、この問題はバージョン 1.8g-5woody1 で修正されています。
安定版 (stable) ディストリビューション (sarge) では、この問題はバージョン 1.9-1sarge1 で修正されています。
不安定版 (unstable) ディストリビューション (sid) では、この問題はバージョン 1.9-2 で修正されています。
直ちに pstotext パッケージをアップグレードすることを勧めます。
