Ein Problem wurde in der Verarbeitung von Chat-Mitteilungen entdeckt. Zu lange Mitteilungen werden vom Server nach einer festen Länge abgeschnitten, ohne auf Multibyte-Zeichen zu achten. Dies führt zu ungültigem UTF-8 auf Clients und zu einer nicht gefangenen Ausnahme. Beachten Sie, dass sowohl Wesnoth als auch der Wesnoth-Server betroffen sind.

Für die alte Stable-Distribution (Sarge) wurde dieses Problem in Version 0.9.0-6 und in Version 1.2.7-1~bpo31+1 von Sarge-backports behoben.

Für die Stable-Distribution (Etch) wurde dieses Problem in Version 1.2-2 und in Version 1.2.7-1~bpo40+1 von Etch-backports behoben.

Für die Unstable-Distribution (Sid) wurde dieses Problem in Version 1.2.7-1 behoben.

Pakete für die alte Stable-Mips-Architektur werden später zum Archiv hinzugefügt.
