Wireshark ネットワークトラフィックアナライザに、リモートから攻撃可能な複数の問題が発 見されました。これらの欠陥を攻撃することによりサービス拒否攻撃が可能です。 The Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures project は以下の問題を認識しています。
- CVE-2007-6450
RPL ディスセクタを無限ループに落とすことが可能です。
- CVE-2007-6451
CIP ディスセクタに過度なメモリ割り当てをさせることが可能です。
旧安定版 (oldstable) ディストリビューション (sarge) では、これらの問題は バージョン 0.10.10-2sarge11 で修正されています。Sarge では Wireshark は Ethereal という名称でした。
安定版 (stable) ディストリビューション (etch) では、これらの問題はバージ ョン 0.99.4-5.etch.2 で修正されています。
不安定版 (unstable) ディストリビューション (sid) では、これらの問題はバー ジョン 0.99.7-1 で修正されています。
直ぐに wireshark パッケージをアップグレードすることを勧めます。
