CVE-2008-2315
David Remahl upptäckte flera heltalsspill i modulerna stringobject, unicodeobject, bufferobject, longobject, tupleobject, stropmodule, gcmodule, och mmapmodule.
CVE-2008-3142
Justin Ferguson upptäckte att felaktig minnesallokering i funktionen unicode_resize() kan leda till buffertspill.
CVE-2008-3143
Flera heltalsspill upptäcktes i olika kärnmoduler i Python.
CVE-2008-3144
Flera heltalsspill upptäcktes i funktionen PyOS_vsnprintf().

För den stabila utgåvan (Etch) har dessa problem rättats i version 2.4.4-3+etch2.

För den instabila utgåvan (Sid) och den kommande stabila utgåvan (Lenny) har dessa problem rättats i version 2.4.5-5.
