Re: PX-716SA growisofs won't write DVD
Well, I went out and bought the best Fuji media I could find according to the
web. mediainfo scans them fine, look to be ok, but when I try to burn to them
i get the error. So far the only disc to work is the RW media that the drive
came with. my TDK -R and the Fuji +R and -R all get this error of showing as
0%.
Upon Further research I've found individuals with the PX-716A say that these
two Fuji media (Taiyo Yuden make) work *perfectly* with this drive. In fact,
one of the makes (the YUDEN000/T02) is the media SOLD BY PLEXTOR!
I've also read many people with the A version say they haven't had any problem
with even cheaper media.
I'm really beginning to think that the problem is not with the media or
the drive but with the software somewhere.
I've attached the mediainfo I took for both media from my two DVDR drives.
