Hi TyroneEpic! It's definitely a good idea for us to think about the places we need help and pitch that at the next meeting... we'll keep you posted! For now it's all still rather fluffy and early, but you're welcome to join us on IRC - #debconf16-capetown. We have a meeting tonight at 21:30 on IRC, and generally chat there too. (It's so late because we have international teammates)The info we submitted for the bid, as well as team members etc can be found here: https://wiki.debconf.org/wiki/DebConf16/Bids/Cape_TownWe're still working on the event website - it's one of the big jobs right now.CheersBOn Tue, Mar 10, 2015 at 11:03 PM, Tyrone Cunningham <tyrone@fullfacing.com> wrote:Hello Bernelle,
tonights meet was very interesting and its nice to hear everyones views on "low level" raid experiences as most cant be googled ;)
I would like to assist where possible with DebConf in SA as we run all our servers off opensource software and linux platforms and as we are in the industry why not get involved right?
You can view our website at the link below. We are a very interesting combination of SysAdmins, developers and engineers
