Hi all, > Where do you store your packaging source? Maybe you should be using git > so it's easy to host it in alioth's pkg-a11y project too so we can > easily help you. Ok, I finally was able to import my packaging activities into git (I was working on a network drive and git-import kept giving tar errors). You can find it at [1]. Please be advised that this is the first time that I work with git, if my way-of-working can be improved, please don't hesitate to comment. At the moment there are two possible issues with the package. 1) Upstream ships the binary in the source tree, I suppose I should ask him to remove it in the future (lintian also tells this). 2) Upstream has created udev rules, which partly seem to me to be an unacceptable hack. He is changing permissions for group audio. My guess would be that his problem should probably be fixed some place else. Does anybody have a good idea about this? Aha, and I should change the maintainer address to this list of course. Paul [1] http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-a11y/daisy-player.git
