check with the www.netbsd.org site, they've got a very nice section of 
Alpha related docs section. What you're after is the

By the way, in case you *really* fuck up your SRM, and your system 
refuses to boot, how can you reinstall your SRM? I'm talking about the 
UDB systems by the way.
