all the patches that are applied are documented in the debian/patches
directory. most of it are cvs updates and Debian build specific
things plus some patches sent by various Debian developers. HJL's
egcs-1.1.1 linux release merges existing patches, cvs updates and arm
support in one big patch, so it's difficult to see what is really new
and was not part in another patch beeing part of the Debian egcs
before. HJL told me to remove the 12 patch; I'll let this decision to
Christopher (our "egcs alpha maintainer").
