Anyone wanna try a generic kernel image?

Hello,

A generic kernel works fine for me too, actually there is one such
kernel on the official CD. Altough it seems to work on LX164, it won't
work for most other people because I was not really aware at the time
of the "rtc" patch from Nikita and its importance, and did not apply
it. This patch is absolutely required.

The config file from
http://lhpca.univ-lyon1.fr/axp/bf990305/config.base2.2
has been setup with the drivers feedback from the 2.0 kernels.

I have heard a new point release of 2.1 is planned, we need to set
the list of Alpha issues that should be addressed:
- new MILOS to solve the bug of 24M machine
- a new generic 2.2.6 kernel with rtc patch for every archs
- has a new perl package be submitted for the problem that occured?

Any other features to propose? They should go to:
http://www.debian.org/~aph/slink-bugs.html

Regards,

Loic
