It didn't? Mine did, but a recompiled 2.0.pre36 did not.
I have a ncr53c8xx (nrc53c875) onboard and the 2.0.pre36 doesn't even
know it when using "make menuconfig".

I managed to compile a 2.1.128 kernel, which has a BSD driver foer
ncr53c8xx. When using taged command queue I get a spinlock from the
kernel (reproducable), but without it works.

I will bring in my kernel tomorrow and stick them on (note the new address)

ftp://hosea.informatik.uni-tuebingen.de/

together with the bootdisks. The maschine is brand new, so tell me if
ftp isn't working.

I found that gatekeeper is awfully slow, so I will also setup a mirror
of it on the above server.

May the Source be with you.
