problem: install as/200 (avanti) & new install disks

I am trying to get Debian installed on my AS/200 (24MB RAM) and have
run into a problem I saw mentioned here a few weeks ago but don't
remember seeing a resolution.
I'm using SRM (latest version), and the Rescue Disk (990305) loads ok
and gives me the MILO> prompt:
I then try to load the kernel with the ramdisk by type:
boot fd0:/linux -flags "root=/dev/fd0 rw load_ramdisk=1
prompt_ramdisk=1"
The following is then diplayed and MILO reboots:
VFS: Disk change detected on device 2/0
[MS-DOS FS Rel, 12,FAT]
[me=0xf0,cs=1,#f=2,fs=1,fl=9,ds=19,de=112,data=26,se=2880,ts=0,ls=512]
Transaction block size = 512
Not enough memory
Press any key to reboot
I've looked up every resource that I could imagaine and have come here
as a last resort.
Thanks,
==Jamie
