Debian 1.3 Release Candidate

**   The current "frozen" distribution is now considered stable enough for   **
**  release.  The current collection of packages will be unchanging except   **
**      to fix serious bugs.  Please feel free to upgrade your existing      **
**   packages or install new systems using this distribution.  As long as    **
**  no serious problems emerge in the next 1.5 weeks, the existing package   **
**   set will become "Debian 1.3" on Monday, June 2nd.  Since Bo has been    **
**   undergoing extensive testing for the past 6 weeks, no major problems    **
**                             are anticipated.                              **
