Bug#225287: libapache-mod-perl: perl 5.8.0-18 packages NOT AVAILABLE
Subject: libapache-mod-perl: perl 5.8.0-18 packages NOT AVAILABLE
Followup-For: Bug #225287
Package: libapache-mod-perl
Version: 1.27-4
Severity: normal
It has been suggested that to fix the current problem with libapache-mod-perl
in sid, one should downgrade the main perl packages from 5.8.2 to 5.8.0-18.
This is fine, except the 5.8.0-18 packages do not seem to be available in the
Debian archives...
For us who use request-tracker (any version, so this include request-tracker1
and request-tracker3), this is *really* *bad* *news*.
I'd very much like to know how to fix this problem at this point.
