There's Yet Another Mailing List over at apache.org. It's the
packagers@httpd.apache.org list. The goal is to have at least some small
degree of cooperation between Apache httpd package managers and the
apache documentation and developement folks. The impetus for this is
that some third-party distributions of Apache *really* suck, and we end
up getting blamed when the distros don't match the docs. Debian is *not*
one of the main offenders here, for the record. But the multi-file
configuration can be somewhat confusing to beginners, since the docs
don't mention it.

Anyways, we'd appreciate your input and participation, if possible.

packagers-subscribe@httpd.apache.org to sign on. I expect it will be low
traffic, but we really don't know yet.

Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree.
"Which Road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his
response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it
doesn't matter."
