Lennert, do you think you can comment on this mail?

David: which kernel is that?  2.6.29 or 2.6.30?  If it's 2.6.29, can
you run
 apt-get update
 apt-get dist-upgrade
 update-initramfs -u
to upgrade to 2.6.30.
