Same issue also with a wired USB keyboard.

In case it matters, my partition layout is very simple with /boot on the 
root partition and I'm using u-boot-menu to generate a 
/boot/extlinux/extlinux.conf.

At the "press any key..." prompt I try pressing keys on the keyboard to 
stop the countdown, but nothing happens and u-boot proceeds with the 
default boot entry in extlinux.conf.

Is there anything else I could try?
