[Bug] MPlayer/libavformat Issue

Hello, I just installed the most recent mplayer from backports.
However, when I try to play any files, I get the following error:

> mplayer: relocation error: mplayer: symbol ff_codec_wav_tags, version LIBAVFORMAT_53 not defined in file libavformat.so.53 with link time reference

and no play.  Please include me in replies to this.
