tomcat7 for squeeze-backports

I am creating a .deb package for our software, which has a dependency
on tomcat7. We would like to be able to support Debian Squeeze as
well, but this release only ships with tomcat6.

Is there any reason (other than time) that the
jakarta-taglibs-standard and tomcat7 packages are not available
through squeeze-backports? It seems like it would be very useful and
relatively straightforward? See here for a topic with some
