If I were you I'd try to ask the alioth-lists maintainers whether they
are willing to move that list.  I could understand if they would answer
that after two years of inactivity its not possible anymore.  I remember
they even created totally new list r-pkg-team@alioth-lists.debian.net
that did not even existed on Alioth - so in principle they are open and
if you have a sensible explanation why that list was unused such a long
time I think they will do you that favour.

Otherwise I would consider asking for lists.debian.org
