Bug#1035074: netcfg: Maybe add support for skipping ESSID selection

Package: netcfg
Severity: normal

Use case: install with DVD 1, without networking.

Seen with Bookworm RC 2, and likely to be rather version-independent[1]:
on a laptop with a single NIC adapter, a wireless one, I'm prompted for
an ESSID, and there's no way to bypass that screen.

It's possible to proceed anyway by selecting “Enter an ESSID manually”,
typing junk, ditto for the passphrase, wait for it to fail, and get to
the following screen, that offers the “Do not configure the network at
this time” option.

This wasn't entirely obvious, and way less “smooth” than the single NIC
adapter in the Ethernet case (IPv6 and IPv4 autoconfiguration is tried
without prompting, and we get to the following screen automatically).

Maybe it would make sense to provide some “Skip ESSID selection” or
“Don't try to connect at this time” option?

    1. That being said, it's more likely to happen now, starting with
Bookworm Alpha 2, that is the first version to support firmware
       in official images.

Cheers,
