Thanks for your report.

Indeed the failure is random.

I've tried to reproduce the failure in the timer.impure.lisp test (by
running a loop on "./run-tests.sh timer.impure.lisp" in the tests/
directory), and I could not reproduce it (even under heavy load).

However there is a similar bug report upstream, so tagging accordingly
for the time being.
