RE:

Hi,

I have an older Garmin C330 that I would like to update without installing a Win
version in Qemu. Of course Debian recognizes the device when I plug it in, however
it's seen as a serial device.

So how can I mount this bad boy so I can use the webupdater I just installed in
CrossoverOffice?

I have read a few pages but they tell how to extract data from the Garmin. I'm only
interested in updating the thing.

http://www.gpsbabel.org/os/Linux_Hotplug.html - extraction

I did what's instructed on this page:
http://geekosphere.org/885/garmin-gpsmap-60csx-under-linux-debian/

to no avail.

Thanks for any insight.
