The latest version of this library is available from:

This is a simple library to load images of various formats as SDL surfaces.
This library currently supports BMP, PPM, PCX, GIF, JPEG, and PNG formats.
This library is under the GNU Library General Public License.
sdl-image is used in the latest circuslinux source, so this package is
needed for updating circuslinux (and maybe other SDL based programs).
