Good point I didn't realize that new libs were in the
offering (again).  Still there will be pressure for
"Potato and a half".  Yes the package pools mentioned
are a good idea.  Also please those that pioneer the
use of new kernels ***please*** document your efforts
so others may follow.  Let us know what packages,
scripts, etc must change to go to 2.4.x when it
happens.  Maybe a 'task package' for such an upgrade
(don't know where it would belong though). There are
things in the offering for 2.4 that will become
necessary (such as real USB support) for many of us.
