Re: Looking for speakers for the First Debian Meeting

Hi Christoph, hi all,

Well, that kind of subjects will be treated in a more general way during
the Libre Software Meeting. There is already some themes about the problems
involved by the opensource (theme about the law, etc...).

For the Debian's general issues, I imagine that our Leader may give a kind
of Speech from the Throne ;), and you will have 5 days and 4 nights to dispute
about the future of Debian. But, as I know that Debian is a bit inflammable,
the very (too) general issues will be discussed "around" the event, just in
order to let you reconcile near a beer or a glass of wine...

OK for the idea of these ones. I think that one conference can be dedicated
to show all the tremendous good things that can be done with a Debian
distribution.

For new projects, this is the place to speak about them, and, eventually,
to recruit. Can you be more precise ?

By the way, the FSF is now officially interested in the event, and it seems
that RMS will be here :) (I do hope that he will make a conference about
the HURD --- so Debian developers of the GNU/HURD : there are numerous
people interested in knowing this beast better...).

Cu,
