Well, right.  But it doesn't put stuff in the scripts like:

# This is magic, don't touch!
dh_foobar -qZvlxu

My point was that, technically, the effects of debhelper are
completely transparent to the end scripts; nothing debhelper does
makes them any more cryptic or "special to debhelper".
