hi, I have noticed that dpkg --force seems to always be enabled during apt operations, for example on the last lilo upgrade it overwrote the lilo.conf man page `because --force is enabled' i certainly did not enable --force and it is not in my apt.conf. what is causing this? it seems dangerous to me. -- Ethan Benson http://www.alaska.net/~erbenson/
