The temporary solution is to create a symbolic link:
ln -s /var/run/postgresql/.s.PGSQL.5432 /tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432
This Unix socket was moved from /tmp in postgresql-7.0.2-5, because
people using tmpreaper were deleting it and breaking their database
connections. unixodbc hardcodes the path to this socket; creating the
symbolic link should avoid the problem, I think.
