Re: Time to drop binary -> binary-i386?



Hi!

As I asked before I think it's time to drop the binary link.

If nobody objects within the next 24 hours I will file a bugreport
against ftp.debian.org asking Guy to remove that link.

That's exactly why I want to have it removed.  I accidently tried to
install a i386 package on the debian m68k machine, bad idea... Please
notice that we do not only have a single architecture distribution.
Instead many users and developers do have different architectures.
Btw. I have three different architectures running Debian on.

To be honest, if I would only have a sparc, powerpc, alpha or m68k machine,
I would feel offended by this link.  It discriminates non-intel people.

Exactly and it is completely unneeded.
