hey, this looks really useful.

looking at the readme, it needs fping and tcp_scan, both from the satan
program.  debian already has fping, but no tcp_scan - how are you going to
do that?  package satan, or just extract the tcp_scan binary from satan's 
sources?

it also needs perl CPAN modules Time::Period and File::Df which aren't
packaged for debian yet... 

(imo, the "correct" way to do disk space monitoring on remote systems is
with snmp anyway)
