The only reason is really one of aesthetics. The actual package is
iraf; it seemed somehow "better-looking" to have the primary doc-dir as
iraf rather than iraf-common. Still, lacking for a better suggestion, I'm
about to sacrifice my aesthetics to the great god Policy :) We'll see
what Lintian says about it.
