Er... what about machines which are remotely administered?
For what it's worth, I've got a couple debian machines which I administer
which are in another state. As it happens, I don't care about netstd
(I use ssh), but it would be really bad if an installation left the
machine unreachable.
It would be nice to have some way of guaranteeing this kind of
integrity.
