Re: filesystems not unmounted on reboot (was: Re: Two hard-to-find problems)



I found out, how to reproduce one "filesystem not unmounted" problem:

Create a swapfile on a mounted partition and do swapon on it, but
don't add it to the /etc/fstab. When shuting down, the swap will not
be deactivated and thus the filesystem can't be unmounted.
